Photo must haves: Headshots

We can’t start the discussion about headshots without speaking on the hot topic of AI. While I haven’t done a lot of research so far on AI and how it pertains to the world of photography, my two cents (so far) is this; people will always need people. Even if having a real person creating a headshot for you is more expensive then an artificially created one. Yes of course AI is cool as a hell! It’s here and it isn’t going anywhere so it’s not about digging heals into the sand being against it. It’s about the creative process that gets missed when there isn’t a team collaborating and supporting you in what you want to ultimately end up with. We still need the human touch and that will never be able to be replicated (no matter how hard Mr. Musk tries…)

In our digital world your first impression is online. A professional headshot speaks to your authority in your industry and just how serious you are about your brand. A great headshot will set you apart from the competition and give your potential clients an added sense of confidence in your business. YOU take your business seriously and so should they!

‘But Jess, I just don’t connect with those traditional corporate style headshots. They don’t convey my brand the way I want them to.’

Your brand deserves more than a selfie on a sunny day! Your headshots, just as telling your brands’ story, is custom to YOUR BUSINESS.

Want a black and white image? Done.

Want a coffee shop type vibe? Done.

Want the image to be outside? Oh you guessed it.. Done!

We can make your image serve your needs in a way that gives a lifestyle headshot feel. The goal of a headshot is to show your face and what you look like current day. They are perfect for profile images across your social channels, your ‘about’ page on a website, any print collateral or for speaking engagements as the announcement image. Thinking about introducing yourself on your Instagram page, this would be the perfect image to use! (hey while we’re on the topic of Instagram, why not give a girl a follow?)

If I haven’t convinced you yet about just how important professional images are, then click on that cute little button above.
